Ledger was in the middle of filming The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus when the late actor hit a tragic death . the shooting of the movie then was suspended following the heart pounding news . but the director Gilliam decided the show must go on in Heath's honor, by completing Ledger's role and finishing the movie . but to make it more of a tribute he used not only one person but three actors to shoot his final scenes - Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell all stepped up to take on the part . and to honor a Legend, their Friend .
Gilliam says, "ive seen it and it works and it's great . it's the last chance to see Heath and he's brilliant . It (filming) stopped for a bit until the three heroes, as they're now known - Jude Law, Johnny Depp and Colin Farrell - came to the rescue and finished off Heath's part . so you ended up with four actors playing one character ."
i for one thinks Heath and Johnny have a strong resemblance just look at this picture . and i think its pretty cool how all 3 wanted to pay tribute and are using the heart tattoos, in his honor . awe, such a sad sight . can't wait to see the movie, i say we all should rock Heart Tattoos to the movies .
